Please join us for the 4th Annual National Capital 5K Run/WALK to support HA funded research, program services, and promote awareness.
PACKET PICK UP LOCATIONS
Friday, 9/19: Hydrocephalus Association's Office Tower Drive Thru PPU (4340 East West Highway, Bethesda, MD 20814) from 5:30-8PM. Find the HA staff near the courtyard area and simply drive up & pick up your bags without getting of your car!
Saturday, 9/20: Road Runner Sports (1120 W Broad St Falls Church, VA 22046) from 11-4PM. For each bag grabbed here, Road Runner Sports will donate a percentage to the Hydrocephalus Association.
Sunday, 9/21: East Potomac Park/Hains Point from 6:30-7:30AM.
Make sure to attend our Team Recognition Awards Ceremony to catch an appearance from Dr. Bear of Children's National Medical Center!
Don’t forget to keep recruiting your team members and collecting your donations for your personal fundraising goal! GREAT prizes (from the Newseum, Washington Nationals, 98.7 WMZQ, and Walgreens just to name a few) will be awarded to the Top Fundraising Participant, Top Fundraising Team, and the Team with Most Members.* Also, there will be a raffle drawing for anyone turning in donations the day of the 5K Run/WALK.
*Totals will be calculated the evening of Saturday, 9/20/14.
• Location: East Potomac Park/Hains Point, Washington, DC
• Date: Sunday, September 21, 2014
• Time: Race starts at 8:00 AM
• Fee: $35.00 for runners & walkers, $15.00 for Kids Fun Run
• Certified course with Chrono track timing
• 2014 Run/WALK T-shirt for all registered participants
• Raise $250 or more, and qualify for incentives prizes
• ALL ARE WELCOME! Competitive runners, novice runners, walkers, friends, family members of all ages, dogs, please come.
Register now! East Potomac Park route is fast and flat. This scenic route takes you past the Potomac River & Tidal Basin. Prizes will be awarded to 1st & 2nd place overall male & female finishers and 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers for each age bracket.
Refreshments will be provided as well as entertainment, games, and more! This year, make sure to bring your blankets & chairs because after the Team Recognition Ceremony, we’ll be gathering together as a community to catch up and enjoy the day.
